Glossary of Terms

This is an incomplete list of special terms that we use to describe various parts of CODAL or the micro:bit, or the ecosystem at large. As this documentation is open source, if we have missed any, or terms need further clarification, please feel free to fork the repository on Github and suggest changes via Pull Requests.

Target

The specific board, chip, or device the program or program code is intended for.

Platforms

The types of devices, boards, software stacks or other configurations that a piece of software or hardware is intended for use with.
